Training Development & Delivery

Through our proven learning methodology, Training360®, ArcSource Group delivers a range of training services to ensure that courseware is engaging and effective and knowledge is retained.
Instructional Systems Design
Our approach to Instructional Systems Design (ISD) is guided by project management best practices and driven by the ADDIE design cycle: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate. Each phase includes quality assurance and customer checkpoints to ensure alignment with customer requirements. The unique aspect of ArcSource Group’s ADDIE approach is the enhancement to the standard model by adding a sixth phase for continuous improvement, “Sustain,” to create a 360-degree model we call Training360®. We apply this approach and associated CMMI Level-3 processes to all ISD tasks to produce effective courses and learning tools that are continually refined based on learner and trainer feedback and training outcomes. 
Analyze
Whether creating a new course or updating an existing one, our process starts with the Analyze phase. We assess organizational environment, objectives, and goals and work with existing resources (including job descriptions, standard operating procedures, training materials, performance metrics, etc.) and Subject Matter Experts to identify critical tasks and behaviors and associated knowledge, skills, and abilities required to achieve desired performance levels. We apply our established training needs analysis (TNA) tools and approach to assess the current state, define the desired state (aligned with organizational objectives and priorities), and recommend solutions for closing identified gaps - whether the best solution is training or not. Measurable learning objectives identify the expected outcomes and behaviors learners should demonstrate at the end of the training. 
Design
Our design documents present customers with an outline of the course, including content, pace, and activities. We provide customers with storyboards, wireframes, and templates to give a visual representation and obtain customer buy-in before launching into course development. 
Develop

Implement
We select professional instructors, facilitators, and trainers with experience aligned to our client’s industry and training requirements to deliver our instructor-led or virtual training. We offer a variety of on-demand technical and non-technical training in addition to our custom development solutions. 
Evaluate
Evaluation is crucial to assessing the effectiveness of training. We apply the Kirkpatrick Model to determine the appropriate measures and metrics to evaluate training based on four key levels: Reaction, Learning, Behavior and Results. Throughout course development, training, and coaching processes, we constantly gather data and apply proven metrics to validate that training is achieving performance goals established in the TNA. We use these analyses to course correct when necessary to continuously improve the training and learning products we deliver. ArcSource utilizes a full evaluation cycle to measure reaction, retention, application, and performance and thus validate and verify course and training effectiveness to ensure that your organization has the tools to execute performance management. 
Sustain
In fast-paced environments, courseware can quickly become outdated. Training360 means that we continually refine training to incorporate learner and trainer feedback, updates to processes and procedures, and new and improved training tools and learning assessments. This ensures that courseware reflects the most up-to-date information and remains effective and useful.
