8(a)/Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB)

The Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) Business Development Program enables agencies to engage in direct buy/sole-source contracts with certified contractors. As an Certified 8(a), Woman Owned, and Small Disadvantaged Business, Government Agencies can contract with ArcSource Group directly using a sole-source acquisition.

8(a) Firms can receive sole-source contracts up to a ceiling of $4 million for goods and services.

Sole source contracts are usually approved in a matter of days. a Small Business Programs within Federal Agencies will understand how to guide their contracting officers, planners and engineers through the sole source contract program. Because the 8(a) program is a federal mandate, Federal Agencies get credit for the amount of work they issue to an 8(a), Disadvantaged Business, and Small Business.
ArcSource Group received its 8(a)/SDB certification in 2010 and is expected to graduate from the program in November 2019.


8(a) STARS II Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC)

8(a) STARS II, a small business set-aside GWAC, provides flexible access to customized IT solutions from a large, diverse pool of 8(a) industry partners. With a $10 Billion program ceiling and a five-year base period with one five-year option, 8(a) STARS II allows for long-term planning of large-scale program requirements while strengthening opportunities for 8(a) small businesses. The overarching objective of SeaPort-Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) is to provide a standardized means of issuing competitive solicitations among a select group of pre-qualified contractors like ArcSource Group and is the Navy’s electronic platform for awarding and managing performance-based task orders to acquiring support services in 22 functional areas including Engineering, Financial Management, and Program Management. OASIS and OASIS Small Business (SB) are multiple award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts that provide flexible and innovative solutions for complex professional services. ArcSource Group is a subcontractor on this contract.

  • Span many areas of expertise and mission spaces
  • Span multiple professional service disciplines
  • Allow flexibility for all contract types, including hybrids and cost-reimbursement, at the task order level, and
  • Allow ancillary support components, commonly referred to as Other Direct Costs (ODC), at the task order level

VA T4NG - Department of Veterans Affairs

The Department of Veterans Affairs Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (VA T4NG) is a five-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract covering the full range of IT services and support. ArcSource is partnered with both service disabled Veteran owned small business (SDVOSB) and large business primary contractors to provide our capabilities through T4.

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) J6 Enterprise Technology Services (JETS)

The DLA is the Department of Defense's combat logistics support agency, providing worldwide logistics support in both peacetime and wartime to the military services as well as several civilian agencies and foreign countries.
